We’re less than one week out from a special election for a seat in the Minnesota Senate – a top priority chamber on our target map.

Democrats hold this chamber by an ultra-thin margin – just two seats stand between our movement and a GOP takeover. If Democrats win in Tuesday’s special election, we can expand our power and strengthen our majority.

Will you donate a 3X-matched gift before polls close on Tuesday to help power state Democrats to victories in elections nationwide?

Did you know that a donation of $3 can help fight Trump’s agenda in states nationwide? Before you consider donating, let me explain why your gift today is so critical →

  • Next Tuesday, Democrats are competing in a special election for a seat in the Minnesota Senate. This election will be a chance to strengthen Democratic power.
  • This November, all 100 seats in the Virginia House and the governorship are on the ballot, giving Democrats a real shot at a trifecta.
  • Last quarter, our Republican counterparts raised a record-breaking $13 million to build power in the states. We need to hit our $125,000 April fundraising goal to compete against the GOP’s mega-donors and hold our ground in the states.

It’s essential that state Democrats have the resources they need to win against their extreme opponents in upcoming elections nationwide. With just seven days until our April deadline, we’re less than 40% toward our goal. Will you chip in today to help close the gap?

Make a donation to have three times the impact to elect state Democrats who will stand up to Trumpism in state legislatures nationwide.

Harmony Art  Exhibition brings together a   renowned group visual artists in Brasília-DF

On May 3rd, starting at 6:00 p.m., the  da Boa Vontade' Gallery will bring together five women artists from Brasília who value harmony in their relationships and love for the art they dedicate themselves to.

Ever since these visual artists from different regions of Brazil arrived in Brasília and ended up settling in the city, it would not be difficult to imagine that one day they would meet and attend courses, workshops and lectures on art and culture, and would participate in the same groups, exhibiting their work in shows and exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.

This meeting gave rise to a friendship based on coexistence, respect and admiration between Eunice Dias, Helena Godoi, Malu Perlingeiro, Mariah Campolina and Roselena Campos.

EUNICE DIAS, from Bambuí, Minas Gerais, arrived in Brasília in 1997. Visual artist registered under number 313/2015 with the Secretariat of Culture of the Federal District. She arrived in Brasília in 1977. From there she moved abroad, returning permanently to the Federal District in 2014, where she settled. From 2000 onwards, her passion for the visual arts led her to diversify her knowledge through courses taken in the various countries where she lived. From each place she was able to extract the essences of the regional culture and learn different techniques that she applies in her work, seeking to portray the richness of colors in their plurality of tones and shades.
