The Emotion of the photographer’s gaze Rodrigo Albertini

In exposure by ArtLab Gallery The Emotion of the photographer’s gaze Rodrigo Albertini In exposure by ArtLab Gallery The Emotion of the photographer’s gaze Rodrigo Albertini In exposure by ArtLab Gallery The Emotion of the photographer’s gaze Rodrigo Albertini In exposure by ArtLab Gallery The photographer Rodrigo Albertini inaugurates his exhibition “Através do olhar”, Beyond the Look, on April 25th, at 7pm, by the ArtLab Gallery. The exhibition has three lines of work - moving city, colonial Brazil and urban and nature landscapes. "The exhibition is a collection of images that, over 10 years, I had the privilege of finding and shooting in different places in the world, in the most different situations," says Rodrigo Albertini.

Beyond the look brings photographic installations that give movement and expand the diverse landscapes that Rodrigo Albertini photographed in the four corners of the world. Having worked in publicity and visual communication, the photographer intensified his studies in the art of photography in Italy. At the same time, he toured several countries, as well as the inland cities of Brazil, to create the series on display at the ArtLab Gallery, which brings not only techniques, but also emotion in each image.

The series "City in Motion" is a portrait of th trays creates a memory of the history of Brazil through Portuguese colonization. The exhibition also counts on photos from the most different landscapes, a subject that Albertini prefers, from the contemplative nature to the urban rumors.

About Rodrigo Albertini

Natural of the city of São Paulo and from an Italian family, always had the art present in his life. Throughout his professional career, he worked with visual communication, graphic design and advertising, always with his own companies. So was born the Design Photo Art, company that currently takes care of Albertini's photographic collection.

Photography has been present since his childhood, whether in family trips or in works for clients in different areas. It was, however, around 2005, in the period he lived in Italy, that he studied photography and developed his artistic concepts photographing the streets and canals of Venice.

Upon he return to Brazil, he did several works for architects, advertisers, advertising agencies, designers, newspapers and even high-quality real estate. In this way, Albertini could developed several techniques that today complement his gaze.

Projects in progress: City in Motion - was born with the intuit to photographically perpetuate all the frenzy of the urban life. But how to show all this movement in static photos? Who said photography is simply static? Yes, there is a lot of movement in these images! This has already been mentioned in important media such as Portal Photos and also exposed in the Cultural Center Fábrica Braço de Prato, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Brasil Colonial - brings with it the importance in understanding and recovering the roots of a Brazil, once a colony of Portugal. The intention is to unite the two countries by the architecture, customs and cuisine that has been left to us as a legacy. The Project has already passed through cities like Paraty, Ouro Preto, Tiradentes and São João del Rei among others.

Still, there is much more to see and lots of images to be found and exposure to the public
