Cris Furtado is awarded with a silver medal in Mostra at Circolo Italiano in Sao Paulo. Fine Art- Cris  Furtado has just received yet another important award in her career. This time, the artist was awarded a silver medal in the acrylic painting on canvas category at Expo Brasil Expressões, an event held at Círculo Italiano in São Paulo, from June 23rd to July 30th.

 

The exhibition was curated by Valkiria Iacocca and was organized by renowned artist Muriah Brasil. The award is yet another recognition of the talent and creativity of Cris Furtado, who is an artist from Goiás based in Brasília.

 

The exhibition had a relevant Judging Committee, with significant names in the world of art such as Oscar d Ambrósio, art critic and curator, José Henrique Fabre Rolim, art critic and former president of APCA (Association of Art Critics) and Chico Cortez , art critic and curator , forming a competent and highly regarded jury in the art world.

 

With a unique and innovative style, Cris Furtado has conquered space in the national and international art scene. His works are marked by the expressiveness of the colors and the originality of the strokes, which convey emotion and sensitivity to the viewer.

 

The silver medal received at Expo Brasil Expressões is further proof of the talent and dedication of the artist Cris Pires Furtado, who continues to delight the public with her works and conquering more and more space in the art world.

Fashionista receives honor for projects to encourage black awareness in Brazil.

Renowned Bahian fashionist Sandro Santos was honored by ACLAB - Academia de Ciências, Letras e Artes do Brasil, receiving the award at an event held on the last july 20th Iracemápolis’s city. The honor was granted in recognition of Sandro Santos' work in favor of fashion and culture, as well as for his engagement in a social project that promotes haute couture and professional training courses, encouraging black awareness in Brazil.

 

Sandro Santos is one of the main names in Brazilian fashion, with a career marked by originality and daring. His work has been recognized both in Brazil and abroad, and has been an important reference for Afro-Brazilian fashion.

 

In addition to his career as a fashionista, Sandro Santos has been dedicated to a social project that offers courses in haute couture and professional training for young people and adults from underprivileged communities, encouraging social inclusion and the appreciation of Afro-Brazilian culture.

 

The honor received by ACLAB is further proof of the recognition of the work of Sandro Santos, who has stood out not only for his creativity and talent, but also for his commitment to promoting culture and social inclusion.

America Bicentennial: Fine Art based in Brasilia – DF receives the title Art’s Ambassador. 

America's bicentennial is a cultural event of great importance for the entire continent, bringing together more than 500 artists in one place, promoted annually in two countries by Jaime Vallardo Chávez. Among these artists, three Brazilian women were awarded the title of Art’s Ambassadors: The great highlight of the Mariah Campolinan tribute (DF), in addition to sharing the tribute with Maria Alves (GO) and Aparecida Felipe (GO).

 

These three artists are recognized for their talent and dedication to art, and are true representatives of Brazil's cultural diversity and richness. Through their work, they show the world the beauty and strength of our culture, and help to promote unity and solidarity among the peoples of America.

 

The event takes place at Mágic Circuit  of Water , a magical and enchanting place that is a true paradise for art and culture lovers. There, artists can express themselves freely and show their talent and creativity to the world.

 

America's bicentennial is a special occasion to celebrate our history and culture, and to show the world our full potential as artists and as peoples. And with the presence of such talented artists as Mariah Campolina, Maria Alves and Aparecida Felipe, we are sure that it will be an unforgettable and inspiring event for all who participate.

Mariah Campolina, is a native of Formosa - Goiás, based in Brasília - DF since 1976. Her first contact with art was in 2004. Since then she has never stopped enriching her knowledge and exploring mixed techniques, textures and colors in the construction of her construction. Inspired by the biodiversity of the cerrado, which is portrayed in most of her works. A hyper-realistic landscape that makes you walk through the works of Mariah Campolina bringing a simple 3D notion, without a doubt impeccable.

 

In the artistic field, she also served as Director of the Candanga Association of Visual Artists – ACAV, in the Federal District from 2015 to 2018.

The artist has just been selected to participate in the group of artists that make up the 8th INTERNATIONAL SALON OF BRAZILIAN ART IN LIECHTENSTEIN, being once again certified in Europe.

 

The 8th Salon of Brazilian Art in Liechtenstein defines the image of the artist Mariah Campolina as a mission criterion of spreading the best of Brazilian Art in Europe.
