You’ve heard from Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Jill Biden, and more about how important the DLCC’s work is for our party and our country. But our records show that you haven’t stepped up yet this year to support our organization with a grassroots donation. With nearly a dozen special elections left on the books, and Democrats falling dangerously behind on our goal – we’re pushing grassroots supporters to chip in a 3X-matched gift ahead of our deadline on October 31st. By investing today, you’ll stand alongside grassroots Democrats and fight against state Republicans’ extreme agenda. Chip in $10 (3X the impact!) before midnight on the 31st to help Democrats catch up to our Republican opponents. If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately. |
Thank you for being a part of our team, The DLCC

State Democrats have secured massive victories across the country this year. With the help of supporters like you, we gained seats in New Hampshire, defended our majority in the Pennsylvania House, and laid the groundwork for Democratic victories in battleground Virginia. And that’s only the beginning. The fight for our fundamental freedoms and against GOP extremism is just getting started. State Democrats are facing gerrymandered maps, abortion bans, and an all-important Election Day in just 12 days – the most impactful way you can help fuel our work is by becoming an official member of our movement. So, we’re calling on you to become a member for the first time and help keep up our momentum to fight in these critical races ahead. Will you chip in a 3X-matched gift of $10 before Tuesday’s deadline to claim your 2024 membership?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately. |

| | | WEBINAR A Novel Approach: Brazil-US Partnerships in Health Science and Human Medicine Friday, October 27, 2023 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. (Eastern Time - U.S. and Canada)
|

| Brazil and the United States share long-established innovative partnerships in health, science, and biomedicine. Through direct investment and public-private partnerships, scientists have come together to fight viruses such as HIV / AIDS, Zika, and COVID-19. Now, for the first time in history, Brazil is initiating research in specific fields of healthcare and science – and has partnered with laboratories in the United States to finance brain cancer research through The Medulloblastoma Initiative (MBI), founded in 2021 by Brazilian Fernando Goldsztein. MBI has established an unprecedented partnership between laboratories and institutions in Brazil and the United States to operationalize funding for world-class medulloblastoma research, with every dollar raised directly invested in finding a cure. Considering this novel approach, the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce has united a group of medical experts, scientists, and business leaders to speak on Brazil-US exchanges and joint advancements made in health science and human medicine. The program will feature MBI Founder Fernando Goldsztein, who will share how MBI was created and his mission to fund pediatric cancer research. Mr. Goldsztein will be joined by Dr. Roger Packer, the Gilbert Distinguished Professor of Neurofibromatosis, who serves as Director of both the Gilbert Neurofibromatosis Institute and the Brain Tumor Institute of Children’s National Hospital. Dr. Packer is the lead investigator from a consortium of 13 laboratories funded by MBI and will share how this group is advancing in preparations to submit clinical trials to the US Food and Drug Administration in 2024. One of Brazil’s most successful entrepreneurs and Director of Instituto Ling, William Ling will share insights as one of MBI’s first supporters. Career diplomat and Head of the Consulate General of Brazil in Asunción, Paraguay, Otávio Brandelli will impart his experience building international awareness for MBI, combining science with an unparalleled business model that focuses on results that will change the future of humanity. Join us on this global journey to hear from pioneers leading and supporting Brazil-US health science partnerships and the extraordinary advancements they have achieved.
