This event takes place annually at Javits Center, New York City’s main convention center. Present at the city during this week were missions from the SEBRAEs of three different Brazilian states: Santa Catarina, Goiás and Ceará. Besides hosting events in the Consulate’s auditorium for these groups, the team of the Consulate-General of Brazil in New York also assisted in setting up meetings and “technical visits” to some of the biggest retail names such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, Swarovski, Tiffany’s and Starbucks. In parallel to the NRF, the consulate also participated in a networking event organized by the Brazilian Association of Franchising that took place on January 13 to a public of around 120 people.
