BRAZILIAN FASHIONIST PRESENTS SOCIAL PROJECT AND SEEKS INNOVATION IN BRAZIL'S FASHION SECTOR.

 


The "Sew your dreams" project, created by renowned fashionist Sandro Santos,   PrivateLabelSP’s founder, aims to offer professional qualifications in the cutting and sewing sector to professionals who do not have the financial resources to invest in their training.

 

Sandro Santos, born in  Bahian-BA dedicated to the study of fashion in Milan, based in São Paulo for 20 years, was recognized in 2023 by the World Academy of Letters for Humanity, awarded the Gianni Versace Commendation, with the goal of promoting black consciousness and training professionals. qualified in the fashionist sector, enabling them to achieve their dreams and stand out in the job market.

 

The idea for the project came from the fashionist's observation that many professionals have intuitive skills but are not valued in the job market because they do not have training or financial resources. Those selected go through a process of technical and practical training, with theoretical and practical classes in cutting and sewing, as well as workshops on fashion and entrepreneurship. The project also offers support for creating your own business, with guidance on management and strategic planning.

 

The project seeks to select candidates who demonstrate talent and desire to improve in the fashion field, offering them the opportunity to participate in courses and workshops taught by renowned professionals in the sector.

 

Furthermore, the idea of the Bahian fashionista is to promote black consciousness, valuing Afro-Brazilian culture and history. To this end, cultural activities and lectures are held on the importance of representation and diversity in the world of fashion.
