SO: Senator Amy Klobuchar is calling on Justice Thomas to recuse himself from any cases related to the 2020 election – calling it a “textbook case” of a conflict of interest.

BUT: Republicans are defending Justice Thomas, claiming there’s no need for recusal!

Voters are challenging the Louisiana map in court under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, noting that while African Americans make up 33% of Louisiana’s population, only one of the six districts drawn by Republicans – or 17% – is majority-Black. It’s part of a pattern of gerrymandering that’s been repeated state after state.
